Our Projects

We care about our community

Our project at the FWC Hospice has been a tremendous success, thanks to the support of The Charity stores. As always, we aim to support self-sustainable projects that can have a lasting impact on the community. With this in mind, we have contributed substantially towards the costs of installing a borehole, hydroponic vegetable tunnel, and a solar system at the FWC Hospice.

The installation of a borehole has provided the hospice with a reliable source of water and also reduced the water bill by R 12000.00 monthly.
The hydroponic vegetable tunnel has enabled the hospice to grow fresh vegetables, which are used to prepare nutritious meals for the patients. This not only helps to improve their health but also provides an opportunity for them to enjoy fresh, healthy food.

The solar system we installed has helped to reduce the hospice’s power outages and ensure that the patients have a continuous flow of oxygen from the electrical oxygen generators.
This has been particularly important during power outages, which are common in the area.

In addition to these projects, we also provide chef-cooked meals for patients which are supplied to the hospice regularly . This helps to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support during their stay at the hospice.

Overall, our project at the FWC Hospice has been a great success, and we are proud to have contributed to such a worthy cause and together , we are making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
